Let It Do the Typing. Keep the Deciding.

The model is wonderful at the typing.

The boilerplate. The rename.
The tenth variation of a thing I’ve done before.

I hand all of that over gladly.

But there’s a line I try not to cross.

The deciding stays mine.
What to build. What’s actually right.
What’s worth shipping at all.

The real danger was never
automating too much of the work.

It was automating the part
that was actually my job —
and slowly forgetting how to do it.

So I let it type.
I keep the deciding.

That trade has made me faster
without making me smaller.
