The Human Touch Is the Last Moat

Machines are unbeatable at scale.
Endless output, copied instantly.

For a while that worried me.
What’s left for a person to be good at?

The answer, I think,
is everything that doesn’t scale.

The judgment in a hard call.
The conversation that needed a human in the room.
The taste only you happen to have.
The trust you built face to face.

As the scalable gets automated,
the unscalable gets rare and valuable.

So I lean into the human parts.
Not despite the machines —
because of them.
