The Hour Matters Less Than the State You’re In

I used to schedule by the clock.
This hour for this, that hour for that.

It ignored the one thing that mattered:
what state I was in.

An hour at my sharpest
was worth four when I was drained.

So I stopped managing time
and started managing energy.

The hard work goes where my mind is clearest.
The shallow stuff fills the tired hours.

Same calendar. Completely different output.

You don’t have more hours to find.
You have better ones to protect.
